Four teams may be forced out of action in the ongoing BANMI 25-and-under Basketball League, according to official Elias Rangamar.

Rangamar disclosed yesterday that because the teams have yet to settle the entrance fee requirement, as well as other documents required by the league, they would be disqualified from further competition, when action resumes April 1.

Documents are also necessary for verification of age as the league is only open to cagers under the age of 26 years.

Facing the boot because of pending payment are the San Antonio Wildcats, Garapan Rollers, Tanapag Warriors, and the San Vicente Sunrisers.

If all fail to pay the $700 entrance fee before or by April 1, the league will be left with only four teams competing. Frontrunners SaipanCell-NMC Hoopaholics and Toyota Prius, as well as current second-place team Ulloa, and the Ghasias 7-Kings have already settled their entrance fees.

So far, the Hoopaholics and Prius remain on top of the team standings, each sporting a 4-0 win-loss record, while Ulloa is right behind with a 3-1 card. The Wildcats follow with a 2-2 record, while the G-Rollers and 7-Kings hold 1-3 records. Both the Sunrisers and the Warriors are 0-3.

Action resumes with a battle of unbeatens as the Hoopaholics and Prius clash at 6:30pm on April 1. Following the bout will be a match up between the 7-Kings and the Wildcats.

The G-Rollers will then take on the Warriors at 1pm the next day while Ulloa close out the week with a battle against the Sunrisers at 3pm.

Games originally scheduled for the next two weeks will be made up at the end of the regular season.

Weekend games were rescheduled due to the Jam Attack Volleyball Tournament. In observance of Holy Week, games will not be played next weekend.
