Fil-Taga March Aces of the Month set for Sunday

The Fil-Taga Golfers Association will hold its March Ace of the Month Tournament this Sunday, March 20, at Laulau Golf Resort west course.

According to tournament director Rey Ferraz, show time is set at 10:45am with tee-off time scheduled at 11:30am.

The golf association is also urging members to attend tonight’s meeting at Angela’s Diner. The agenda for the tete-a-tete is the upcoming Saipan vs. Guam tournament. Show time is at 7:15pm and “tea” time is at 7:30pm.

Established in 1993, Fil-Taga’s tournaments operate under a computer-controlled handicap system that creates parity among players in the A and B Flights.

A Fil-Taga Ace of the Month champion is crowned monthly. Regular tournaments are scheduled once a month, normally every third Sunday. Green fees are in the $35 to $40 price range for most tournaments.
