MVA awards 3Q, 4Q employees
The Marianas Visitors Authority recently announced the recipients of its Employee of the Quarter for the 3rd and 4th quarters: Brenda Repeki and Benedicta Borja.
Repeki, who has been with the MVA for over four years, is a marketing assistant for the Marketing Division.
“[Repeki] is always willing to take on additional tasks and continues to improve her quality of work” said MVA marketing manager Wayne Pangelinan. Repeki has also served as an emcee for the Japan Marianas Tourism Club meetings and coordinates all incoming VIP visits.
Borja, an administrative specialist for the MVA Tinian Office, has been with the MVA for over 13 years.
“She is always helpful with a smile,” said MVA Tinian Marketing Manager Ellen Ikehara. “Her personality and good nature is infectious that it rubs off on everyone! Her good rapport with the staff always results in a job well done—no matter how tired everyone is.”
MVA always establishes an incentive for individual motivation toward providing quality service, increasing productivity, job knowledge and skills. The recognition program is designed to recognize outstanding performance and employee’s contribution toward meeting MVA’s goals and objectives.
Both employees of the quarter received a plaque and $100. (PR)
