Volunteer Fire Department meeting set

There will be a general membership meeting for all CNMI Volunteer Fire Department volunteers and anyone who is interested in joining. The meeting will be on Saturday April 23, 9am, at the Mutli-Purpose Center, Susupe.

NMC-CREES open house today, tomorrow

Want to see thousands of Noni and Da’ok seedlings? How about shrimp and fish that grows in Saipan CUC water? Learn about how to eat local foods in a healthy way. We have activities for school children, and how to manage your budget. Come see all this and more at the NMC-CREES Open House.

Wildlife and Fish Conservation meeting set

The Division of Fish and Wildlife is preparing a Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Plan for the CNMI and requests public comments regarding any species and habitats that you feel should be addressed by that plan. April 18 SAT10 testing all week

April 21, 6pm Monthly PTSA meeting in the HJHS cafeteria. All parents, students, staff, and community members are encouraged to attend.

KES schedule of events

April 18-22—SAT 10-This is a national standardized test that will be given to all 3rd, 5th, and 6th graders. If you have a child in this grade, please be sure that they get a good night’s rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and come to school on time. Please provide your child with 2 pencils. This test helps to track your child’s progress during school.

April 25—4th quarter Mid-Progress reports will be handed out to the students. If you have any questions about your child’s performance in school, please do not hesitate to talk to the teacher as the year is rapidly coming to a close. Your participation is greatly appreciated.

April 29—Parent/Community Participation Day from 8am-12:15pm. This will be a fun-filled day for the children as parents and community agencies from around the island will be at the school doing presentations. If you are interested in participating and have not signed up yet, please call the school at 664-3961 and ask for Mrs. Dela Cruz.
