Two men face charges for allegedly having sex with two children in two separate criminal cases at the Superior Court.

In one of the cases, the Attorney General’s Office charged Perlito Galang San Jose with rape and criminal oral copulation.

CNMI chief prosecutor Jeffrey Moots accused San Jose, a 46-year-old Chalan Laulau resident, of having sex with a child sometime in June 1999, when the alleged victim was only 6 years old.

Moots separately charged 44-year-old Wilfredo Corrales with sexual abuse of a minor in the first and second degrees. Corrales’ alleged victim was about 12 years old when he had sex with the child between September to October last year, according to Moots.
