Sablan is ARC’s new controller

David C. Sablan, who retired early from government service, has taken on a new challenge as controller of the Aqua Resort Club under its Finance Department.
He assumed his post on Aug. 1 after a long hiatus from the workplace.
Sablan said his 20 years of work experience has equipped him with all the knowledge and skills he would need for his new post at the hotel.
Sablan has worked with government agencies such as the Department of Finance and the Legislature. He also made a mark at the Commonwealth Government Employee Credit Union.
At 55, Sablan said he feels younger in his newfound work, though he said there would be more expectations from him, being in a new industry.
“The owners of ARC expects some changes for the better,” he said.
He said his new family welcomed him with open arms. “I’ve felt so relax and welcome, and I am here to stay,” he said.
Sablan said the resort has a competent pool of accounting officers and staff that will be key to his successful management of the department. He said possessing quality people and good technology also keep the set-up more than perfect.
A father of three and husband to a loving wife of 37 years, Sablan said he would give his all for the continued excellent service at Aqua Resort Club.
