As part of the Energy Star® Awareness Project and Energy Awareness Month, YCO True Value Hardware in Garapan and YCO Do-It-Best Hardware in Chalan Piao will be promoting today the “BOGO” buy one, get one free compact fluorescent light bulb and also the elastomeric roof insulation.

Both promotions are funded by the State Energy Program of the U.S. Department of Energy.

The CFL promotion would be on a one-to-one with no limit on purchases or until supplies last and the elastomeric promotion would be buy one 50-gallon kool-lastic primer and you get one 50-gallon elastomeric roof coating free.

This would be limited to two per family and until supplies last. The promotion is extended for residential homes and not for business use. The promotional sale would be from 9am to 2pm only.

The elastomeric roof insulation also labeled with the Energy Star® helps reflect heat back and instead of heating the house, it cools the house. The primer is a rubberized undercoating for the roof that must be applied first, then the coating, which forms a rubber-like blanket of protection that expands and contracts with the roof. It helps lower interior temperature and saves electricity.

In addition, all purchases of Energy Star®-labeled CFLs at any YCO True Value or Do-It-Best Hardware, will gives customers an entry form for the CFL Home Makeover contest. The second drawing will be at the held on Monday, Oct. 31, 4pm at the YCO True Value Hardware in Garapan.
