AGO prosecutes 4 in Internet shop riot

The Attorney General’s Office has filed charges against four men who were involved in a riot at an Internet shop on Saipan.

Brian Tebuteb Palacios and Antonio Brown Sablan Jr. were charged with criminal mischief and riot. Andrew Curtis Brown Sablan was charged with riot and assault and battery, while Alexander Pangelinan Sablan Jr. was charged with criminal mischief, riot, and assault and battery.

All defendants were summoned to appear and answer the charges in Superior Court on Dec. 1, 2008 at 9am.

Chief Prosecutor Kevin Lynch stated in the information that on May 10, 2008, Palacios and Antonio Sablan Jr. damaged the glass door of an Internet game room owned by Jian Hua Min.

Lynch said Andrew Sablan pushed Chun Hui Chen, while Alexander Sablan damaged the Internet game room and punched Li Feng Gong repeatedly.
