[I]Support Staff of the Year[/I]
Lois Dewitt is an outstanding teacher at Koblerville Elementary School. She is our 1st grade teacher. She is dynamic and very energetic. Her students love her. Mrs. DeWitt is also a teacher leader. She is actively involved in PSS Language Arts Learning Community. She conducts professional developments for teachers on research based teaching strategies that they can apply in the classrooms. She is also a teacher mentor. She helps teachers with their needs in the classroom and provides support for the novice teachers. She organizes PeaceBuilders activities monthly as our PeaceBuilders coordinator. She promotes the spirit of teamwork, discipline, and healthy living by beinag active in school sports program. Mrs. DeWitt is truly amazing! Koblerville Elementary School is very proud of her!
[B]KEVIN ADACHI [/B] [I]Teacher Aide of the Year[/I]Kevin Adachi is our Kindergarten teacher aide of the year. He is a teacher aide at our school for six years. Everybody in our school loves Mr. Kevin. He is enthusiastic, hardworking, and a dynamic teacher aide. He likes to offer his help to all our teachers and staff. He is also very creative. He teaches our students cultural dances and songs. He also teaches our students many forms of arts. He loves being with children. Mr. Adachi is also actively involved in promoting good health at our school by being a member and a presenter of our Project Familia program. He is also our co-coordinator of PeaceBuilders. Congratulations Mr. Adachi! You deserve to be out Teacher Aide of the Year and we are proud of you!
Norman Arda is presently the school maintenance at Koblerville Elementary School. He has been working at the school for four consecutive years now. As school maintenance, he accomplishes many tasks, which include electrical, air conditioning, and mechanical. He also takes other responsibility such as maintaining the school’s lawn, buildings, and ground. Mr. Arda works really hard for the safety of our students. His positive attitude and his willingness to do the tasks given him, and his contribution to the school and to our community make him the Support Staff of the Year for our school.. Congratulations Mr. Arda!
