[B]Attention to families with disabilities on Tinian, Rota[/B]

The Family Hope Center under the CNMI Council for Developmental Disabilities and Northern Marianas Protection & Advocacy Systems, Inc. would like to inform the community that the System Navigators would be traveling to Tinian and Rota to conduct interviews and follow up(s) with families with disabilities on the following dates:

Tinian Jan. 15-16, 2009

Rota Jan. 22-23, 2009

[B]Kagman community meeting set[/B]

The Kagman Komunidat Association is inviting the public to meet at the Kagman Community Center on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at 6:30pm. Issues to be discussed include the Kagman sidewalk construction, Puengin Inetnon (Kagman Friday Night Market), future and current CIP projects for Kagman (CIP coordinator Vicky Villagomez will be present), and other current community issues. Reps. Rosemond Santos and Ed Salas will also be present to discuss issues. (PR)

[B]Bayani to host cultural show fundraiser[/B]

The Bayani Association will host and launch a Filipino Cultural Show called “Balik-Tanaw Sa Kulturang Pinoy” on Jan. 17, at 7pm, at the Hibiscus Hall of the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan in Garapan.

The two-hour cultural show and banquet dinner presents about 16 creative cultural dances that portray the Filipinos’ regional culture, tradition and arts representing the Philippine islands of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The CNMI Guma’ Ezperansa/Karidat is the chosen beneficiary for the net proceeds of the event. (PR)

[B]Tinian High PTA meeting set[/B]

This is to inform parents and guardians of Tinian High School students that there will be a PTA meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 3:30pm at the Tinian Youth Center. All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend this important meeting. Call Herman Hofschneider, Carla SanNicolas, Lynette Hofschneider or Rose Lazaro if you have any questions. (PR)
