With Memorial Day approaching, the members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Saipan Post 3457 would like to encourage everyone to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service to their nation. We also ask that you remember, and support, those who currently serve.

Saipan Post 3457 is participating in the National VFW project called “America Bands Together.” VFW members around the world are distributing patriotic red wristbands that proclaim “I Support Our Troops” and on the opposite side “VFW.” Hundreds of thousands of these bands have already been distributed in the United States.

In the coming months you may see members of VFW Post 3457 distributing these red bands at community events. There is no charge for these wristbands but donations will be gratefully accepted. The proceeds of your donations benefit emergency assistance for troops, as well as established well-recognized VFW programs that serve veterans and their families. We hope that you will show your support for this project.
