The Division of Environmental Quality has cleared the waters of Tinian’s beaches and drainages after none of the samples collected showed concentrations of fecal indicator bacteria that exceeded the CNMI Marine Water Quality Standards.

“Therefore, DEQ assigns all of the sampled beach sites a green flag. Enjoy our waters,” the division said.

DEQ analyzed samples from 10 locations on Tinian.
