The Kagman High School Prom Committee joined Shell Marianas’ Suds for Funds car wash event held Saturday, Oct. 21, at Shell’s Highway Express service station on Middle Road, Gualo Rai and was able to raise $185 to help finance the group’s activities.

Shell Marianas, Coca-Cola Beverage Company (Micronesia), Inc., and Beach Road Magazine sponsor the monthly Suds for Funds car wash. Shell designated the station and provided cleaning materials while CCBC Micronesia provided drinks to the patrons and participants.

Close to 20 club members, joined by their coordinator, Sonia Castro, and adviser, Chris Concepcion, cleaned cars from 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m. They had pre-sold car wash coupons for the fundraiser.

The next Suds for Funds car wash is scheduled for Nov. 25 at Shell’s Dan Dan service station. Interested parties may get in touch with Carmela Palijo, station operations manager at 322-4190 for further details. [B](PR)
