2 Philippine media groups visit Saipan
Two media groups arrived on Saipan on Nov. 28 for a five-day visit to promote the Mariana Islands to travelers looking to get outside of the Philippines to vacation. The two groups are “Probe” and “PILMAP Travel & Leisure Magazine.”
Probe is a television program shown in the Philippines. The content of their story will be to introduce the Mariana Islands as a place to vacation. The islands are geographically close and easy to get to from the Philippines. They will also focus on the historical element of visiting Saipan, Tinian and Rota In addition, they will spend time on Saipan’s submarines. The program will air thrice and each segment will be 7 to 12 minutes.
PILMAP Travel & Leisure will be here to explore the islands to write a travel and lifestyle article. With a circulation of 30,000 and a readership of professionals, students and tourists alike, this is a perfect venue to feature our beautiful islands. This article will run in their December/January issue and will be 3-5 pages long.
