SANTA RITA, Guam—As part of the ongoing renovations of the Navy’s Water Treatment Plant, a water outage is scheduled from 12pm of Dec. 1 to 12am of Dec. 2.

The planned outage will affect the villages of Agat and Santa Rita. Additionally, the Navy’s Treated Water Reservoirs will be affected during the outage due to the lack of replenishment normally provided by the treatment plant.

During the scheduled outage, water production at the plant will be secured to enable completion of critical work in support of plant upgrade projects.

In an effort to minimize impacts of this water outage, the Navy will be implementing various water conservation measures for its housing residents. (PR)
