Prepare your households and your ears as the Overseas Workers Welfare Association-Overseas Filipino Workers Support Group visits your house for a “glorious” Christmas caroling.

OWWA–OFW Support Group officer Jhun Banadera said the caroling is intended to raise funds to support the projects of the group.

In his letter to the prospective household members, Banadera also said the caroling aims to bring “Christmas joy to your evening.”

“Primarily, proceeds of this event will go along way in support of the ‘Tuloy Aral’ Continuing Education Assistance Program facilitated by OWWA,” said Banadera.

He said the Continuing Education Assistance Program is currently offered to children of former OFWs who have not succeeded in their overseas work.

“CNMI has consistently been on the top list of sponsors. Currently, for this school year, CNMI is supporting a total of 82 children in public schools in the Philippines,” said Banadera.

The group started visiting homes yesterday and will continue to serenade and provide Holiday entertainment to homes every weekend of this month.

The group’s caroling is scheduled on Dec. 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23.

“This year with your help, we could eventually reach our target of supporting 100 children in their search for a better future through their education,” said Banadera.
