GVB looks to expand its global reach through e-marketing
The Guam Visitors Bureau is currently soliciting proposals from established e-marketing and e-public relations agencies for a global website marketing coordinator with the connections and expertise to assist the agency in its goal to expand the international reach of its electronic-based marketing strategies and assist GVB’s liaison office in matters pertaining to Guam.
The agency is hoping to attract proposals from companies with a diverse skill base and experience in creative development, search engine optimization, direct email campaigns, target marketing, cross-channel promotions, linking strategies, advertorial development, and web advertising in multiple languages that articulate a unified brand image. Familiarity with Guam’s key target markets, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, North America, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Australia, and China, will also be a key factor in the final selection process.
“This is an exciting moment for the GVB,” said general manager Gerald S. A. Perez. “Internet marketing is not only the wave of the future in terms of effective global promotion, it’s the most cost effective method of publicizing Guam’s story and appeal to an international audience. We are eager to step up our game and take the marketing of Guam to the next level. We’re confident this selection process will identify the right player for Team Guam.”
All interested and qualified parties may pick-up copies of the Request for Proposals (RFP) at GVB located at 401 Pale San Vitores Road, Tumon, Guam, anytime Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm or may be downloaded from the agency’s website at www.visitguam.org/main/
Proposals must be received in writing at the GVB head office-guam, no later than 5pm Chamorro (Guam) standard time, on Dec. 15, 2006.
The GVB reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, solicit new proposals, or award the contract for global website services in whole or in part.
