The Department of Public Safety, in coordination with the Emergency Management Office and COMNAVMAR Guam, said that the U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Detachment Team from Guam will detonate World War II vintage bombs at the Laderan Laggun Cliff Line in Marpi, about a mile north of the Marpi landfill, this Saturday, Dec. 9, from 1pm to 2pm.

Due to the danger imposed by this activity, EMO is strongly advising the public, especially commercial pilots, tour operators, residents, farmers, tourists, bikers, joggers, and fishermen, to stay at least a mile away from this area during the time and date indicated.
