The Division of Environmental Quality said none of the samples collected from Managaha Island contained excessive concentration of fecal indicator bacteria nor did they exceed the CNMI Marine Water Quality Standards.

DEQ analyzes water samples collected from Managaha’s recreational beaches and dock this week as part of the regularly scheduled sampling. Therefore, DEQ assigns all of the sampled beach sites a green flag and enjoy your waters.

The Division of Environmental Quality analyzed a total of 11 samples from the shore surrounding Managaha this week. DEQ welcomes all inquires as to the quality of the beach water. The public is encouraged to contact DEQ 664-8500 with any questions concerning this matter. (DEQ)
