Hyatt Regency Saipan threw a classy party Friday evening to say goodbye to Michael von Siebenthal, the hotel’s general manager for almost seven years, and hello to the man who is taking over from him, Nick K. Nishikawa.

The two are switching posts. Von Siebenthal is assuming Nishikawa’s 12-year role as general manager of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Fukuoka, Japan.

Local tourism industry players, business leaders, politicians, and other dignitaries were in attendance for the memorable event held in the Hyatt gardens. Only the finest food and wine were served, while a live jazz band provided soothing entertainment.
