Presentation of economic study on monument plan

Dr. Thomas Iverson from the University of Guam will be visiting Saipan next week to present the results of his preliminary economic study identifying the potential costs and benefits of establishing a marine monument in the CNMI.

He will be on Saipan Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17-18. Presentations are scheduled with the Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Committee, the Rotary Club of Saipan, Northern Marianas College’s Current Issues summer session and MVA’s Japan adhoc Committee.
