Continental posts outstanding June performance
It said the airline exceeded the month’s operational performance goals with 77.1 percent of all flights departing on time or early, 89.7 percent flights arriving within 14 minutes, a completion factor of 99.9 percent, and mishandled baggage ratio of 1.06 per 1,000 passengers on a passenger load factor of 73.4 percent.
The airline sets goals each month based on four operational criteria: departures exactly on time, arrivals within 14 minutes, baggage delivery performance, and completion factor.
When all four goals are met, the company extends a cash bonus to each employee. Employees will be receiving their checks on Friday, July 18.
