AGO prosecutes suspected car burglar
The Attorney General’s Office has charged a man of burglarizing a vehicle and stealing some items.
William Deleon Guerrero was charged with burglary and theft. He was summoned to appear and answer the charges in the Superior Court today, Monday, at 9am.
Chief Prosecutor Kevin Lynch stated in the charging information that on May 19, 2007, Deleon Guerrero illegally entered the vehicle of Jeff Elliot.
Once inside the vehicle, the defendant stole Eliot’s bag containing personal items, Lynch said.
In other court news, the AGO has filed charges against a 34-year-old woman who allegedly received stolen stainless steel railings.
Gloria Agulto Cabrera of San Antonio was charged with receiving stolen property.
Assistant attorney general Jeffery Warfield Sr. alleged that, on July 18, 2007, Cabrera received the stainless steel railings belonging to Kwang Ho Kim, knowing that it had been stolen.
The AGO also charged a teenager of causing damage to a car while under the influence of alcohol during last New Year’s Eve.
Charlie Misaro, 19, was charged with disturbing the peace, criminal mischief, and minor consuming alcohol.
Lynch said that on Jan 31, 2008, Misaro disturbed the peace of three persons and dented the car belonging to one of the victims Misaro was allegedly drinking at the time.
