CIP project?

To Rep. Diego Benavente:

We would like to obtain some information concerning the road project currently taking place at your former residence and family compound. We noticed this while we were investigating other matters and the newly paved road led straight through to a dead end loop where a rooster farm with all your campaign pictures are being used to cover chicken fences or coop.

Can you please give us an idea how much this road project costs? And was there a bidding process that was made?

Can you please explain why the project is called Capital Improvement Project, when we have major road projects that need serious improvements?

We are questioning this matter as there are other private landowners along As Lito and Fina Sisu area that need paving of their family roadways or entrance road.

Also, the government is broke and the Saipan and Northern Islands Legislative Delegation just discussed the issue of more austerity Fridays and holidays.

Your prompt response on the matter will be great appreciated.
