The meeting that discussed the possibility of pursuing legal action to recover administrative orders pertaining to unpaid wages took place last Aug. 12, 2008. The main agenda of the meeting was legal cost, identifying contact persons and the options available.

The group is calling on all guest workers who have been issued by the Department of Labor an administrative order stating that they are entitled to unpaid wages but their employer is either out of business or has filed for bankruptcy and they are the beneficiaries of surety bond to contact Irene at 285 7717. 322 8897 (call and leave your name and number) or e-mail at irenebdi@yahoo.com. The administrative order must be within six years from issuance.

“It is your right to collect what you worked for. This might be the chance for you. Please contact us immediately so we can explain to you what you need to do,” Tantiado said. [B][I](PR)
