Questionable appointment

Does anyone find it, well, absurd that the former comptroller for the MPLA has been appointed comptroller of the NMI Retirement fund?

The comptroller’s job is to control the finances of an organization. It is well known that the MPLA was one of the worst abusers of public funds. And now the same person who allowed blatant abuse of public funds will be in charge of the Retirement Fund. And he, Mr. David Demapan, has only been at the Retirement Fund for two months. Governor Fitial demanded legal action against the MPLA members. Yet nothing was ever done.

And now Fitial is allowing this same person to be recycled through the Retirement Fund. Hello, nepotism at its worst, and goodbye to the retirement funds. Another disaster waiting to happen. If I had that kind of influence, I could go rob a bank one day and be the bank VP the next. A very creative way to run things. By the way…what did happen to the investigation of the MPLA?
