RGA November qualifier this Sunday

Refaluwasch Golf Association will hold the qualifying tournament for its November Ace of the Month this Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi.
Tournament director Jess Wabol said check-in time for the weekend competition is 11am with tee time set an hour later at 12pm. A total of 16 slots will be available for RGA members.
Wabol also reminded Ace of the Month winners that they need to have played in a minimum of six tournaments (including qualifiers) in order to qualify for the yearend RGA Club Championship.
The Club Championship assembles all 12 monthly champions, provided they qualify.
In related news, the Marianas Country Club will also be the venue for RGA’s Inaugural Memorial Classic set on Nov. 8.
The Memorial Classic takes the place of the Turkey Shoot and will be held to honor RGA’s departed members Plas Tagabuel, Sid K. Peter, and Tony Taitano.
According to Wabol all golfers in the CNMI can take part in the tournament, which tees off at 7:30am following a 6:30am check-in time. Entry fee for the one-day tournament is $100.
