Abuse of the man’amkos

Mr. Macaranas,

We had requested an investigation into the activities of Mrs. Rosa Mondala nearly two months ago and to date we had not heard any update on the matter. Instead we had to read it from the media that such issues were never looked into. Mr. Macaranas, you being the director of the Man’amko Aging Center is subjecting our man’amkos to such abuses taking place right next door to you and you have not done anything to correct or rectify this serious matter. Mrs. Mondala’s unprofessional, unethical, barbaric, and tyrannical disrespectful attitude will not be tolerated and the two of you should be investigated immediately on the matter of forcing people especially the man’amkos regardless of race, color, ethnicity to do something they do not want, then criticize, insult, and embarrass them in front of other man’amkos present when they refused to sign a resolution from Mrs. Mandala. When we met, you had made a commitment to investigate the abusive nature and approach of Mrs. Mandala toward the man’amkos including employees of the Aging Center, which you personally guaranteed and assured TAOTAO TANO that you would prioritize for you also did receive numerous complaints concerning Mrs. Mondala. To date the problem had escalated!

It’s bad enough that when we first visited your office to discuss such reports we encountered numerous sign-up documents, mission statements and pamphlets pertaining to your so called corrupted indigenous NMD organization being promoted within and under the roof of Man’amko Center placed. This type of political promotions had no business on the Aging Center’s counter which we find to have no relevance or reasons that those types of promotions be placed on the AG’s counter.

Mr. Macaranas, may we suggest and I hope you take it into consideration for the sake of the man’amkos. If you cannot find it your heart to discipline or remove an employee who has had numerous complaints reported against her for unprofessional behavior we ask that you tender your resignation and allow someone else who would do so for this problematic issues must end immediately and please have respect for our elders’ concerns or complaints.
