Fil-Taga November Ace set this Sunday

The Fil-Taga Golfers Association will hold its November Ace of the Month Tournament this Sunday, Nov. 16, at the Marianas Golf and Country Club in Marpi.
According to tournament director Manny Po, show time is set at 11am with tee-off time scheduled 30 minutes later at 11:30am.
Ted Malaran will donate four turkeys for nearest to the pin in the par-3 holes in commemoration of Thanksgiving. In addition, the Top 16 players will get to take home a whole chicken each.
Established in 1993, Fil-Taga’s tournaments operate under a computer-controlled handicap system that creates parity among players in the A and B Flights.
A Fil-Taga Ace of the Month champion is crowned monthly. Regular tournaments are scheduled once a month, normally every third Sunday. Green fees are in the $35 to $40 price range for most tournaments.
Its 2008-2009 set of officers are led by president Mike Cruz, vice president Jhun Calma, secretary Manny Po, treasurer Arnaldo Guban, and board of directors Fr.
