Local SHRM chapter gets ‘Superstar’ award
The CNMI Chapter for the Society for Human Resource Management recently received a “Membership Superstar Award” from the National SHRM organization in Washington, D.C.
“Your chapter has achieved a Membership Superstar based on a 10%+ increase in your SHRM membership as of October 31, 2008,” stated Crystal Adair, Regional Administrator for the SHRM. “Although the ‘official’ 2008 count of our high-achieving membership State Councils and Chapters will include all of 2008, we did not want to miss this opportunity at to recognize all of you!”
The Chapter was also recognized for this significant achievement at SHRM’s Annual Leadership Conference in Arlington, Virginia. Present to receive the award is CNMI Chapter President, Ms. Frances Torres-Salas and 2009 President-Elect Ms. Marlene C. Cruz. “This is great news and we are excited about receiving such a prestigious recognition,” stated Ms. Torres-Salas.
Special ribbons designating Membership Superstars and Stars for those State Councils and Chapters achieving at these levels will be available at the registration area.
