Saipan Walking Inc. announced yesterday its last event of the year dubbed “Christmas in the Marianas Health Walk.”

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 20, with the registration to start 3:30pm at the corner of the American Memorial Park, adjacent to the Fire Station.

Registration fee is $5 that comes with a t-shirt.

Organizer Mario Espeleta said leftover shirts after the walk would be available for $7.

Espeleta said this event highlights the 7th Annual Christmas in the Marianas Celebration.

The walk will be followed by the Christmas in the Marianas Float Contest, and Christmas in the Marianas Attire/Caroling Contest.

The float contest will assemble at the Carolinian Affairs Office starting at 5pm and end at the AMP parking lot.

The Caroling Contest will begin at 6:30pm or right after the parade at the AMP Amphitheater.
