The Commonwealth Association of Retired Persons will hold a meeting for all retirees and all members of the Retirement Fund on April 8, 2009, at the Round House, Garapan Central Park at 6pm.
Agenda for the meeting includes an update on CARP and a discussion with Retirement Fund officials on the state of the Fund and what members can do to save the local retirement system. All retirees and all members of the fund are urged to attend this critically important meeting. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B] [B]Puengin Inetnon today [/B]
Puengin Inetnon will be held again today, March 27, 2009, at the Kagman Community Center’s parking lot. Puengin Inetnon is Kagman’s Friday Night Market that will take place every government payday. It will begin at 4:30pm and end at 10pm. There will vendors selling food, drinks, snacks, clothing, and crafts. Puengin Inetnon is a family oriented event. Alcohol will be prohibited from the event. All are welcome. Come attend Puengin Inetnon for some family fun, right here in Kagman. Interested vendors can call the Kagman Post Office at 256-POST for applications. Kagman’s Saturday Flea Market will be held tomorrow, March 28, 2009, at the Kagman Community Center’s parking lot. It will be held every government payday Saturday. You may only sell your used items. This is to inform the Public that the Developmental Disabilities Award Ceremony scheduled for today, March 27, 2009 from 9am to 11:30am will be postponed. The 23rd Annual American Red Cross Walkathon will be held tomorrow, March 28, at 6am, starting at the 4H Building on Beach Road in Susupe.
Register for $15 and receive a free t-shirt. Walkers start at the designated starting point, then walk north toward the Garapan Fishing Base, then back to Susupe.
Drinks and sandwiches will be available at the start and finish points, and along the routes. Protect yourselves, the young and the old by following the directions of the safety officers.
