The Marianas Visitors Authority and Tinian Dynasty Holiday reach over 2,000 travel agents, airline and media representatives, and individual travelers who visit the Northern Marianas booth during the Guangzhou International Travel Fair on March 24-29, 2009.

As a key international travel fair in China, this year GITF attracted over 60,000 participants. Four hundred exhibitors from nearly 35 countries were represented this year in 16,000 square meters of exhibition space.

“China remains an important market for the vitality of NMI tourism, and the Guangzhou International Travel Fair is also one of the most relevant travel fairs for us in the Asia-Pacific region,” said MVA managing director Perry Tenorio. “China outbound tourism continues to grow, are we are very pleased to have the revival of the Guangzhou-Saipan charters on June 15, 2009.”

To highlight the Northern Marianas, MVA and Tinian Dynasty Holiday hosted a reception dinner to share destination details with travel agents.

MVA and Tinian Dynasty Holiday have participated in the fair since 2002. In FY 2009, the Northern Marianas received 31,000 visitors from China. (MVA)
