Police are now investigating the Wednesday morning burglary at a store in Chalan Piao, where many electronic devices, including 11 laptops, were stolen.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Eric David asked the public yesterday for help in identifying the suspect or suspects. The NMI Crime Stoppers offers up to $1,000 cash reward to anyone who can provide information that will lead to the arrest of the burglar or burglars.

David said it is estimated that the suspect or suspects managed to run off with electronic devices worth $10,844.

He said that on Wednesday at 8:02am, DPS 911 dispatcher got a call about a burglary at the Tenda Sita Plaza across Hopwood Jr. High School.

Police discovered that the rooftop of the Tenda Sita Plaza had been cut open above the Thai Fashion Shop. Officers found a rope leading down from a section of the ceiling. Inside the store, the place was a mess.

Investigators found a broken glass shelf with its contents missing. The glass shelf reportedly contained 11 laptops, five mini I-phone M888A models, five MP5 audio players, 10 digital cameras, and 11 computer mouse devices.
