NAVFAC Marianas awards $75M to Guam firm for paving services
SANTA RITA, Guam—Naval Facilities Engineering Command Marianas awarded a $75 million indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract on June 23 to Hawaiian Rock Products of Mangilao, Guam for paving construction services at joint military installations on Guam.
“This contract is a tremendous win-win for the military and island community,” said NAVFAC Marianas Acquisition director Andy Wall. “Our contracts team works diligently to ensure joint military installation requirements are effectively met by industry partners.”
Hawaiian Rock Products will provide for the construction, alteration, repair, and/or maintenance of asphalt concrete roads, streets, highways, alleys, parking areas, and their associated facility, such as but not limited to concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, guardrails, U-ditch, drainage pipe, traffic striping, pavement marking, and related work.
