Consulate to conduct mobile services on Tinian in Sept.

Filipinos on Tinian will be able to avail of consular services as the Philippine Consulate General plans to conduct another mobile consular services on the island next month.

The mobile consular services on Tinian will be held on Sept. 16 and 17 at the Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino.

Consul General Medardo Macaraig, labor representative Carmelina Velasquez, welfare officer Julia Fabian, staffers Nerisa Anastacio and Antonio David will form the consular team to visit Tinian.

Macaraig noted that requirements for those who wish to apply or renew their ePassports remain the same, except for a photograph which is no longer required.

Information about requirements for passport and other consular documents may be found at the Consulate’s website, www.philippinessaipan.org.

To facilitate the process and allow the consular team to serve more Filipinos, Macaraig urged passport applicants to download the application form from the website and send the accomplished form via fax to 234-1849, email to saipanpcg@pticom.com or postal mail to P.O. Box 500731 Saipan, 96950 CNMI.

Macaraig said that there will also be mobile consular services for Filipinos on Rota in October, with more details to be announced on a later date.
