Shirley’s league now has 12 teams

The 3rd Annual Shirley’s Coffee Shop Invitational Basketball League has lured two more teams in Fresco and Marianas Services, upping the list to 12 squads.
The two new additions in the league will join inaugural champion Micronesian Brokers, Inc., Mobil, PSS/McGraw-Hill, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Hanwa/World Resort, Fiesta Resort & Spa, Pacific Trading, Wushin, and host Shirley’s.
Shirley’s caging coordinator Boy Lingcaso said with the league adding two more squads, they decided to push back the opening to next month to give teams more time to complete the event’s requirements and their respective uniforms.
[B]Monday meeting[/B]Lingcaso added there will be a meeting for representatives of each team on Monday, Aug. 22, at 6pm at Shirley’s Coffee Shop in Garapan. Details about the opening of the league and ground rules will be discussed at the meeting. Teams representatives are also requested to bring copies of their initial 12-player roster. Waiver forms and others will be distributed to teams representatives during the meeting.
