With the limited financial resources provided to the Judiciary under the fiscal year 2012 budget, the CNMI Judicial Council has adopted necessary measures to implement a reduction of personnel work hours and courthouse hours of operation.

Through the end of January 2012 the courthouses on all three islands will be open with full operations except as noted below:

-Saipan: Closed on Monday, Jan. 16, Martin Luther King holiday

-Rota: Closed on Monday, Jan. 16, Martin Luther King Holiday

-Tinian: Closed on Jan. 30, austerity day

The courthouses’ schedule of operations for February will be announced when it is established in the last week of January.

Additional information may be obtained by calling the Clerk of Court’s office phone number, 236-9765 on Saipan, 433-3410 on Tinian and 532-9422 Rota, or by contacting the Supreme Court’s Public Information Office at 236-9716.
