Maharot Crew upsets Ali’I Kamote in Masters

VFW Post 3457’s Maharot Crew shocked frontrunner Ali’I Kamote, 11-6, in the Saipan Electronic Dart Association’s Master Division to pull within three games of the lead as the Winter/Summer 2012 Bud Light League season continued last Wednesday.

In addition, Jonny’s Bar & Grill’s Sparks, Bammy’s Restaurant Bar & Grill’s Bud Brothers, Jonny’s Try Luck, SOS Bar & Grill’s DJ Fish, VFW Post 3457’s Good Guys II, and Jonny’s AG-Sakude! are the current front runners of the C Division, A Division, Ladies, B Fanihi, B Flame Tree, and Inter-Government groupings, respectively, after conclusion of last week’s matchups.

Although Masters leader Ali’I Kamote stumbled to an aching road upset compliments of VFW’s second place Maharot Crew (101-69) on Wednesday, they still remain at the helm with an overall win-loss slate of 104-66.

Meanwhile, Bammy’s Aces (3-77) trumped SOS’ Mixblood Rookies (84-86), 10-7, on the road to maintain third place ahead of SOS’ All Stars (91-79), which routed VFW’s D’Companeros (61-109), 13-4, at home. SOS’ Destroyers (83-87), for its part, defeated Bammy’s Sabalu Boyz (63-107), 11-6, on the road.

Also on Wednesday, C Division’s Sparks bested Oceanside Bar & Grill’s third place V1 Shooters (80-70), 10-5, to improve to 87-63.

Just a game back in the second chair sits Bammy’s DRP (86-64), which spanked Naked Fish’s Hafa Mas!, 14-1, at home, while Oceanside’s sixth-ranked V2 Shooters (70-80) upset VFW’s Party Rock (77-73), 9-6, and 19th Hole’s caboose team Hole In One (53-97) stunned Island Apparel Oh MG! (74-76), 9-6, in a road match held at Naked Fish.

Going back to Monday, A Division’s Bud Brothers (101-69) routed VFW’s Primos (60-110), 15-2, on the road to move into first place by a game ahead of SOS’ Mixblood Shooters II (100-70).

Mixblood II absorbed an 8-9 upset at home to Sand’s seventh-ranked Juvy Predators (73-97), while Bammy’s Sabalu (96-74) defeated sister team Celebrity (78-92), 12-5, in a road draw to remain in third place and 101 Proofers (89-81) survived Naked Fish Boyz (83-87), 10-7, at Naked Fish Bar & Grill.

Also on Monday, Try Luck snuck past Momes’l Mei (66-84), 8-7, in a road match at Bammy’s to improve to 105-45.

Sixteen games back comes VFW’s B-52 Shooters (89-61), which downed Daarty Deedz (44-106), 12-3, while Naked Fish’s Man Amigas (86-64) remain in third place despite absorbing a 6-9 road upset to Joe’s Steakhouse’s fourth ranked Just Like Dat (82-68). 19th Hole Bar & Grill’s Reapers (71-79) plucked Joe’s Daffodils (57-93), 12-3, at home.

B-Fanihi’s DJ Fish fell short in Thursday’s matchup against Poseidon’s seventh-ranked One Shot (63-87), 7-8, but remain the team to beat by a dozen games with its 98-52 card.

Moreover, its sister team Lights Out is still riding shotgun after dismantling Bammy’s third-ranked DRP-2 (84-66), 11-4, on the road, while Es’y’s Kitchen Shooters (74-76) romped Jonny’s Adventurers (59-91), 14-1, at home and Naked Fish’s Na’Gupu (70-80) triumphed over the Dutty Gunz (66-84), 10-5, in a road match at VFW.

B-Flame Tree pacer Good Guys II reclaimed the top spot last Thursday after chopping up Lilapuching, 12-3, at Bammy’s.

Good Guys II improved its record to 88-62 and clung to first place ahead of Joe’s Skoregazzzums and Jonny’s Rehab by just two games.

Skoregazzzums dunked The Water Front (68-82), 11-4, at home, while Rehab steamrolled SOS’ What U Got (61-89), 14-1, also in a home match. Jonny’s Retsa Sakudi II (77-73) then defeated Dart Freaks (74-76), 9-6, at the 19th Hole.

On Friday, Inter-Government’s AG-Sakude torched NMC Proa (45-105), 14-1, at Naked Fish to improve to 108-42, while Bammy’s second-ranked Team CUC-Power Plant (95-55) made it past DPS Enforcers (52-98), 9-6, in a road pairing held at Jonny’s.
