Tony Satur proved to be just too much for the Bad Boyz going the distance, for Lite Hit & Run allowing just three runs while striking out nine as the Beermen won their eighth game with just one defeat with a 12-3 victory.

Hit & Run jumped on top 2-0 in the bottom of the first on Martin Gloyd’s two-run triple. The Bad Boyz tie it all up at 2-all with a run on the top of the second on James Diaz’s in-the-park homerun, and another run in the third on an error.

But Hit & Run then pulled away for good with a run in the bottom of the third on Gloyd Martin’s solo homerun, another run in the fourth on Jester Garcia’s RBI single, and seven big runs in the fifth highlighted by Len Wayne Maratita’s three-run-inside-the-park homer for an 11-2 lead.

Both teams then traded a run each in the sixth to account for the final margin of the game. The loss dropped the Bad Boyz to 5-3 to remain in third place.

Meanwhile, the Tanapag Waves won their second game of the season without a sweat when the Stevedore Mauleg failed to field the required nine players for an easy 7-0 forfeiture victory.
