If so, don’t miss the upcoming free workshop on Web Page Development being offered by the NMC Small Business Development Center as part of its series of Small Business Development Month training activities.
Dr. Frederick Hill, director of the Department of Business, Hospitality, and Computer Technology at Northern Marianas College, will be presenting a workshop entitled “The Basics of Web Page Development.” Dr. Hill explained, “This workshop will benefit business owners and individuals alike, especially people that are interested in selling items over the Internet websites such e-bay.

The presentation is designed to familiarize participants with the language, techniques, tools and effects that are achievable in the design of we pages for personal and business purposes. This dynamic seminar will cover four training modules: Part 1 will cover the latest programming languages that are used to create web pages; Part 2 will allow attendees to witness construction of a simple web page; Part 3 will provide an overview of various software tools and packages adapted for the creation of web pages; and Part 4 will consist of a discussion of the types of special effects that are achievable in web page design.
Dr. Hill earned his Doctorate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mast of Science degree in electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering all from George Washington University in Washington D.C. Dr. Hill has over 37 years of professional experience, to include hardware and software design and development.
