Hopwood High opens on Aug. 7

The faculty and staff of Hopwood Junior High School wish to inform all parents and guardians of students that the school will open for regular instruction on Aug. 7, 2000.

Students must be on the school campus no later than 7:45 a.m. At 7:45 a.m. all students must report to their first period classroom for homebase. Classes begin at 8:00 a.m. and the school day ends at 2:55 p.m. Each student will be attending seven class periods each day.

On Aug. 2, 2000, there will be a 7th grade orientation to at 6:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. All incoming 7th graders and their parents should attend this. On Aug. 3, 2000, the 8th grade orientation will also be at 6:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
For those parents who have both 7th and 8th graders scheduled to attend Hopwood Junior High School, please attend the orientation of Aug. 2.

All parents are again reminded that the School Board of Education policy requires all registered and enrolled students to have an updated health card (Blue) and PSS registration form.
