Up to $20K arts grant available

The Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture (CCAC) recently received information from Creative Capital, an organization that funds the creation of work by visual and performing artists.
Creative Capital is announcing their 2000-2001 grant cycle which will provide grants from $5,000.00 to $20,000.00 to fund specific projects by visual artists.
Applications will be available at the end of August 2000. Interested artists may request an application by writing to the Creative Capital Foundation, 65 Bleecker Street, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10012. Artists may also request an application via email at info@creative-capital.org. Applications will also be available online the first week of September 2000.
The deadline for the submission of applications is Oct. 31, 2000, 5:00 p.m. eastern time.
The CCAC encourages CNMI visual artists to submit applications and will provide printed information from the Creative Capital website upon request. The CCAC will also assist any artists who would like to request for an application via email. Please call the CCAC at 322-9982/3.
