In the latest installment of the ongoing Humanities Roundtable series, radio station KRNM at Northern Marianas College will air a one-hour conversation with Dr. Dirk H.R. Spennemann of Charles Sturt University in Australia.

Host Ed Zehr, Chair of the Social Sciences, Fine Arts, and Humanities Departments at NMC, interviews Dr. Spennemann about his new book, Aurora Australis, which analyzes the social, political, and economic ramifications of the German Administration in the Northern Marianas.

The Northern Mariana Islands Council for the Humanities arranged for Dr. Spennemann’s recent visit to Saipan, in which the distinguished guest made a presentation to the CNMI Teachers Institute. The pre-recorded interview can be heard on KRNM (88.1 & 89.1 FM) Thursday, Oct. 19th, at 9:00 p.m, and will be repeated two days later, on Saturday, Oct. 21st, at 7:00 p.m.
