1st Game: Lens Bar defeated Team Doritos 74-58 Saturday night at the NMC Basketball Court to advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs.
Mark Rozic led his team with 18 points, 1 assist, 1 blocked shot, 16 rebounds and 2 steals, while teammate George Poquiz had 18 points, 1 assist, 1 blocked shot, 1 rebound and a steal.
Doritos on the other hand had 18 points, 1 assist, 1 blocked shot and 6 rebounds coming from Romy Grimpula. Robert Simeon helped out Grimpula with 9 points, 1 assist, 2 rebounds and a steal.
2nd Game: NMC Fakpi advances to the next round of the playoffs in the Masters Basketball League with a 92-69 victory over team WD-40.
Arnold Mesa pumped in 27 points, 6 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 steal, while Regular Season MVP candidate Lloyd Hartman contributed 24 points, 10 assists, 2 blocked shots, 13 rebounds and 2 steals.
Leo Intervalo led WD-40 with 31 points, 1 assist, 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Benjie Abadilla helped out Intervalo with 13 points, 1 assist and 5 rebounds in a losing cause.
