Tues., Nov. 7, 2000
1st Game: Aqua Resort 97, PDI 64
George Prudente had 21 points to lead Aqua, while teammate A. Arellano contributed 17 points. PDI was lead by Manny Bahillo with 17 points, followed by Ed Yalung with 14 points.
2nd Game: Hyatt 88, CUC 74
Pola Franz, Joe Hetiback and Jeff Callahan each pumped in 10 points for the Hyatt attack. George Poquiz pumped in 23 points, followed by Allan Librea with 19 points in a losing cause.
Tues., Oct. 31, 2000
1st Game: Hyatt d83, Toyota 79
Keim Eina led Hyatt with 19 points, while Alfonso Masga helped out with Eina.
Toyota was led by Jorge De Guzman with 45 points and backed up by Rodney Catalla with 22 points.
It was a close game from the start of the game until the last seconds, Toyota only had 7 players dressed up for the game and Hyatt took advantage of the situation.
Hyatt team manager Andrew Sablan instructed his players to regroup and press the ball and this paid off in the end.
2nd Game: Mobil 86, Tan Holdings 83
Danny Illahi, the scoring machine of Mobil Oil, pumped in 34 points, while Junar Guiab backed up Illahi with 22 points.
Ronald Delos Reyes lead Tan Holdings with 27 points followed by Jerry Zamora with 15 points before fouling out.
Mobil Oil took advantage of the situation when Zamora committed his fifth personal foul. It was a close game but Mobil stayed with Tan Holdings and made the run in the last two minutes of the game.
