Koa’uka and their own brand of music
Three talented young men will visit the island to give music lovers a chance to hear a different style of original contemporary Hawaiian-Reggae music.
Koa’uka is composed of Bronson (guitar) West (ukulele) and Keahi Lau (bass) and their newest member Kaleo who will all give you a different type of entertainment with the special style of music that they have created.
Singing and playing music for sometime now, the Koa’uka group is fast becoming popular in Hawaii impressing the audience with their unique performance.
Bronson, who is the leader of the group, is a prolific songwriter. A graduate of Waianae High School, Bronson’s favorite hobby is hunting for wild pigs. He also helps aspiring musicians to push them achieve their dreams and goals.
West is the multi-talented member who writes music and plays a number of musical instruments but his favorite is the ukulele. He is best known for the energetic reggae rap in his music. According to him, he looks forward to making a career out of singing and writing music.
Keahi Lau is the comedian in the group. He says music has been a part of his life since childhood and dreams of creating songs forever.
On Nov. 27 and 28, Kao’uka will perform at Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Gilligan’s beginning 9:30 p.m. to give the island a taste of their own special brand of music.
