CHCVA helps to raise funds for breast cancer campaign
The CHC Volunteers Association is now selling raffle tickets to help a Saipan resident raise money to fight breast cancer.
Dolores Palacios Curley wants to do something special to raise money to assist the CHC volunteers in their efforts to help fight breast cancer, one of the leading causes of death among women. To celebrate her 60th birthday on March 2, Ms. Curley will make a parachute jump and land at the high school track area at around 4:00pm.
CHC is asking the public to support Ms. Curley in this endeavor by being at the track field on March 2, and by buying raffle tickets for this very worthy cause. Tickets are on sale at the CHC gift shop at the hospital for $1 each.
All proceeds will be donated to the CHC Volunteers Association. First prize is brunch for two at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Chinese Restaurant. The drawing will take place at the gift shop on April 2 at 12:00 noon. Those who will buy the raffle tickets need not be present during the raffle draw to win.
The Volunteers will be holding another fundraising raffle at the beginning of April. Proceeds from this will go towards buying a birthing bed for the Rota Health Center. First prize for this raffle will be a karaoke system and tickets can be purchased at the gift shop.
