The Governor’s Office of Women’s Affairs and the CNMI Health Providers will conduct a forum on Women’s Health using local herbs on March 8 at the Rota Health Center Cafeteria, on March 9 at the Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino, and March 10 at the Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe.

Each forum will begin at 8:00 in the morning with a registration of interested participants, followed with the official opening at 9:00 in the morning and will run until 12:00 noon.

The forum will include private health providers and physicians as presenters on women health issues and concerns, and will provide recommendations for preventive care using local herbs.

An exhibition of the various local herbs will be on display at each forum site. Prepackaged samples of selected local herbs will be distributed to participants who completed the halfday workshop.

Those who are interested to participate are asked to contact the Women’s Affair Office on Saipan at 288-4102 or 288-7365; on Rota at 532-0421; and on Tinian at 433-4102.
