Hotel Nikko Saipan recently provided Ayuda Network, the alliance of social and human service providers, 28 used carpets in excellent conditions.

Ayuda Network distributed the carpets to agencies in the public and private sectors in dire need of floor covering that will facilitate the use of the floor, and stand to make a significant difference in their work setting’s appearance.

Recipient agencies include the Community Guidance Center, Headstart sites and the Carolinian Affairs Office.

“Thanks to Ramon Dela Cruz of Hotel Nikko, many social service agencies will now have decent interior settings, which their clients will find quite useful,” said Michelle Rasa, the network’s Administrative Assistant.

She was added that her organization’s appreciation to the benefactor rests not only on the high value of the donation but because of the shining example of business-community relationship that transpired.

Staff from the Carolinian Affairs Office, the Legislature, and Sablan Construction Company helped with the transfer of the 28 carpets to Ayuda Network’s Office.

Reed Camacho, during his day off from Hyatt, volunteered his time as well to help move the carpets from Hotel Nikko Saipan.
